The service was good, the food was good. I booked a room with a comfortable bed, central heating, a writing desk and an electric kettle. The location of this hotel was glorious and ideal.

Caring staff, excellent services, and glorious location close enough to the store and the restaurant in a separate building in the wind and snow and many natural attractions such as waterfalls. A nice size room with a double bed and sunlight, as example, and smoke detectors too for guests' safety.

The breakfast was large with homemade bread and delicious pancakes. the location of the property was quiet, scenic, and right next to beautiful Stjornarfoss waterfall, Kirkjubæjarklaustur, mountains.

The lack of noise isolation between rooms was a major drawback, as it disrupted our ability to enjoy a peaceful night's sleep. Furthermore, the shower curtain in the bathroom was not effective in preventing water from splashing onto the floor, requiring us to clean up after showering.

This place is pretty big and doesn't cost much at all, which is great. Everything seems to be in good order here. 🌟

The hotel is situated in a picturesque area, surrounded by stunning waterfalls and scenic landscapes. We were able to visit several natural attractions nearby, including Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious, providing a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and attentive, offering good service throughout our stay. The breakfast was basic but satisfying.

Some aspects of the hotel were a bit crowded, particularly during breakfast time.

The location is peaceful and very scenic, just 1 mile from the church floor. Staff is very professional and genuinely helpful. the twin/double room offers comfy beds, and you can conveniently park your car on site.

The value for money at this hotel was impressive, with clean and spacious rooms that easily accommodated our luggage. The location was ideal, positioned between VIK and Selfoss, and only a short drive from Jokulsarlon. The friendly staff and delicious food added to the overall positive experience.

The breakfast selection could have been improved with quicker refills on some items.
